Kamala Harris' Border Visit: A Humorous and Critical Perspective

Has Kamala Harris’ recent visit to the border garnered your attention?

On the surface, the visit might seem like a crucial moment for her to address the immigration crisis. However, many are left questioning the motives behind her visit, particularly given the lack of substantive action prior to this point. Is this visit a genuine effort to address the crisis or merely a strategic move to gain votes?

Is Kamala Harris' Visit to the Border a Good Idea?

Some argue that given her future responsibilities, it might be a good idea for her to visit and gain a glimpse of the realities. After all, if she becomes President, she would be directly responsible for addressing the issue. But, why is it that she is only visiting now, after four years of apparent inaction?

Was It All About Votes?

Brandon Judd’s observations on her visit reveal a stark picture. Kamala Harris didn't meet with any border patrol personnel. Instead, two higher-up representatives were forced to meet with her. She conducted a quick photo op and left without engaging in meaningful discussions or listening to the concerns of those directly impacted by the border crisis. Her rhetoric, such as comparing border patrol to the KKK and calling for their banishment, further fuels skepticism among the public.

Moreover, there is a perception that she is only visiting to gain votes. This has led many to question her true intentions and whether she really cares about the plight of illegal immigrants or simply wants to win support.

Understanding the Border Crisis

The scale of the border crisis is vast and multifaceted. It is not merely a matter of a thousand miles of open border; instead, it is a system that caters to illegal immigrants at the expense of American citizens. Imagine a high-rise luxury hotel where undocumented immigrants can stay for free, get paid for being there, and have easy access to free food, subsidized housing, and other benefits. This scenario is not a distant reality but an expose on the current state of affairs near the Texas-Mexico border.

The flood of undocumented immigrants, drug trafficking, sex slave trafficking, and other illicit activities are rampant. The comparison to a chaotic traffic jam at 6AM on a Monday morning in Houston is telling. This scenario is not only a social and economic issue but also a security concern. The American taxpayer foots the bill for this, creating a system that undermines the value of hard work and leaves many Americans feeling disenfranchised.

America Needs Borders

The argument is that without proper borders, a country is destined to fail. The need to stop illegal immigration and restore the security of the border is paramount. Harris' promises to keep the border "open" ring hollow given her lack of meaningful action in the past four years. Texans are particularly concerned and believe that at some point, they will have to take action to close the southern border, one way or another.
