Our next step was to prepare for a total power loss. We decided to proceed south towards Poestenkill, considering Glens Falls as an alternative. Suddenly, we flew into clouds, and the situation rapidly deteriorated. Using cigarettes as a glow source, we managed to break out and locate the runway lights, ensuring a safe emergency landing.
