Due to the low pressure inside the Hyperloop, the team has decided to build reinforced exteriors for the carriages, which would be difficult to create with foldable doors. As a result, they have opted for a different design that prioritizes safety and efficiency.

While Musk initially proposed a connection between San Francisco and Los Angeles, the HTT team recognizes the significant political hurdles involved. Instead, they are focusing on building the Hyperloop in more politically favorable locations such as Dubai and Las Vegas.
