Unsatisfactory Experience with Savaari in India

Recently, I had a profoundly displeasing experience with Savaari, a cab service provider, in Hyderabad, India. This journey was marred with numerous issues, the most prominent of which were time changes, driver discrepancy, poor service, and incurring extra costs. This experience leaves a strong negative impression and raises concerns about the reliability and quality of service Savaari offers.

The Misery Begins

I booked a cab from Savaari for a 9 AM journey last week. Unfortunately, the scheduled time was changed without my consent by the driver to 9:30 AM. This was the first issue, but the subsequent delays and problems only added to my frustration.

The driver did not arrive until 10 AM, which was already an unacceptable delay. Upon arrival, I was presented with a driver and a vehicle that didn't match the details provided, making the entire experience even more chaotic and confusing.

Driver Discrepancy and Poor Service

The worst part of the journey was a Refusal to drop me off at the requested point in Miyapur. The driver forcefully dropped me off at Neramanzil, which was clearly not my destination. This change in route was not only inconvenient but also breached the agreement I made with the cab service.

To make matters worse, I was charged an extra 35 kilometers, which were not part of my original journey. My travel history clearly shows a distance of around 80-90 kilometers, yet I was billed for 115 kilometers, a significant overcharge of Rs 2238. This blatant disregard for correct billing practices is unacceptable and is a major reason for my dissatisfaction with Savaari.

Miscommunication and Additional Costs

The driver not only ignored my request for a specific drop point but also charged for the time taken, asking for an additional 12 rupees per kilometer and arguing for the cost of a Bata (an energy drink). Furthermore, the driver continued to attribute his delays to traffic conditions, which were clearly not true since I had proof of my scheduled travels through an KSRTC bus and a Hyderabad Metro ticket.

Convenience and timely travel are crucial for busy individuals, and the service provided by Savaari fell far short of meeting these expectations. Due to the issues faced during the journey, my friend and I were forced to spend additional money for alternative modes of transport. Even though such methods exist, one would expect that booking a cab is a more reliable and convenient option.

No Refund, No Trust

Despite multiple attempts to request a refund, I have not received a response to my payments made to the driver via Savaari. The billing still shows a total of Rs 1853, yet my company will only pay me the actual amount I incurred. It is a situation that magnifies the uncertainty of dealing with such unreliable service. This experience has left a strong sense of distrust in Savaari and their service.

Conclusion and Final Words

In light of this negative experience, I would not recommend Savaari to my colleagues or friends. The need for a refund, the lack of trust, and overall poor service have shattered any positive opinion I had about Savaari.

It is clear that Savaari requires significant improvements in its service quality to regain the trust and loyalty of its users. In the current state, the experience leaves much to be desired.
